Welcome to The Tried and True (operated by Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya Coaching Centre), owned and managed by ANAYA BISWAS SARKAR. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website www.thetriedandtrue.in and all educational services provided by our institution. By enrolling in our courses or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- "Institution" refers to The Tried and True / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya Coaching Centre, owned by ANAYA BISWAS SARKAR
- "Owner/Proprietor" refers to ANAYA BISWAS SARKAR, the legal owner of The Tried and True
- "Student" refers to any individual enrolled in our coaching programs
- "Parent/Guardian" refers to the legal guardian of a minor student
- "Services" refers to coaching classes, study materials, examinations, and related educational services
- "Website" refers to www.thetriedandtrue.in and all associated pages
- "Board" refers to Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya examination board
2. Eligibility & Admission
2.1 Eligibility Criteria
- Students must meet the eligibility requirements for Class 10, 11, or 12 as per Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya board guidelines
- Candidates who have passed Class 8 are eligible for Madhyamik (Class 10) enrollment
- Candidates who have passed Madhyamik are eligible for Higher Secondary (Class 11 & 12) enrollment
- Age restrictions as per board regulations will apply
2.2 Admission Process
- Complete the admission form with accurate information
- Submit required documents (previous marksheets, ID proof, photographs)
- Pay the applicable admission fee (Arts: ₹2,450 | Science: ₹2,950)
- Admission is confirmed only after verification of documents and fee payment
2.3 Document Requirements
- Previous examination marksheet/certificate (original for verification)
- Aadhaar card or valid government ID
- Passport size photographs (4 copies)
- Address proof (if different from Aadhaar)
- Transfer certificate (if applicable)
3. Academic Rules & Regulations
3.1 Attendance Policy
- Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for all students
- Students with less than required attendance may be barred from examinations
- Leave applications must be submitted in advance for planned absences
- Medical leave requires submission of valid medical certificate
3.2 Class Timings
- Class schedules will be provided at the time of admission
- Students must arrive on time; late entry may be marked as absent
- The institution reserves the right to modify class timings with prior notice
- Special classes and doubt-clearing sessions will be announced separately
3.3 Examinations
- Regular internal tests and mock examinations will be conducted
- Students must appear for all scheduled tests
- Re-test may be arranged for genuine medical emergencies only
- Board examination registration will be handled by the institution
3.4 Study Materials
- Study materials provided are for personal use only
- Reproduction, distribution, or sale of materials is strictly prohibited
- Lost materials may be replaced at additional cost
4. Code of Conduct
All students are expected to maintain discipline and uphold the institution's values:
4.1 Expected Behavior
- Treat faculty, staff, and fellow students with respect
- Maintain silence and discipline during classes
- Follow the prescribed dress code (if any)
- Keep mobile phones on silent mode during classes
- Maintain cleanliness of the premises
- Report any issues to the administration promptly
4.2 Prohibited Activities
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable
- Use of abusive language or behavior
- Damage to institution property
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or drugs on premises
- Carrying weapons or dangerous items
- Academic dishonesty including cheating and plagiarism
- Unauthorized recording of classes
5. Fees & Payment Terms
5.1 Fee Structure

5.2 Payment Terms
- Fees must be paid at the time of admission
- Additional examination fees may apply as per board regulations
- Late payment may attract penalty charges
- Receipts must be preserved for all payments made
5.3 Refund Policy

6. Disciplinary Action
Violation of rules may result in the following actions:
Minor Violations
Verbal warning, written warning, parent/guardian notification
Moderate Violations
Temporary suspension, mandatory parent meeting, behavioral probation
Severe Violations
Permanent expulsion without refund, legal action if warranted
The institution's decision in disciplinary matters shall be final and binding.
7. Limitation of Liability
- The institution is not liable for any personal belongings lost or damaged on premises
- Results and academic outcomes depend on individual student effort; institution provides guidance only
- The institution is not responsible for third-party actions or decisions by examination boards
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government orders) may affect scheduled classes
- Website information is provided for general purposes; specific details may change
- The institution reserves the right to modify course content and teaching methodology

8.1 Intellectual Property
